Chess - Today we discussed taking time to think about our opponent’s move before making our next move. We also discussed: controlling the center, developing our pieces, and protecting the king.
PBL – How can exploring Ancient Egyptian culture and architecture help me design a sustainable building? We finally completed our structures. I filmed students today explaining their structures. I will upload the videos and send an e-mail link sometime this week.

Creativity – In thinking along the lines of our futuristic structures, students created a “kid 1,000 years in the future.” Students incorporated: fashion, hobbies, food, school, etc.
